During prom, groups of them will be stationed at every entrance. Betty claims they were only pretending, but Cheryl isn’t convinced, and she tells Betty that her secrets is safe with her. She finds him in Dilton’s bunker, playing Gryphons and Gargoyles along with Toni, Cheryl, Sweet Pea and Fangs. She and Jughead express their love for one another before starting the quest. She and Jughead plan to pass out candy and watch scary movies. But, no one said that the Gargoyle King can’t add on to his own quest and offer a different outcome.

Also unreleased by Jughead’s decree is Fangs. Hal explains that he and Penelope are products of their environment.

Veronica offers to take him to her family’s cabin in Fox Forest, where they could make him think he’s going to die. He transforms their emotional pain into physical pain so that it’s easier to treat and banish.

It became fairly apparent that Kevin was upset with Betty for going behind his back, to his father With her mother headed down a downward spiral, Betty spoke over the phone with With her make up running down her face from the fake tears she forcefully cried, Betty handed over the cipher to her mother, claiming that the code didn't come with a letter and that she didn't know what else to do or who else to go to with the cipher. There’s a fridge filled with harvested organs. Starting that moment, there will be no selling or doing of drugs. Jughead wonders if this could be motive and if Penelope killed the Sisters, though she claims to have done no such thing.

Archie and Veronica prefer that over simply allowing Mr. Honey to die.

Jughead applied for spring, but they can take him as early as fall. She then admitted that Betty was right abut Chic and kicked him out the house. And when you don’t have confidence, mistakes are made and that’s what Betty’s hoping for.

Edgar then proceeds to hypnotize Betty with Newton’s Cradle. However, Archie isn’t that person anymore, he says while teary-eyed.

Betty adds that maybe he should have scheduled a meeting with Mrs. Burble like the rest of them.

Betty informs him that Penelope Blossom claims Darryl Doiley poisoned the chalices, which is pretty convenient given that he’s dead. Charles gets off the phone with Governor Dooley, who refuses to negotiate with a cult leader. Afterward, Cheryl confronts Betty as she is well aware that Betty has ulterior motives for attending. It’s as if every trace of his writing at Stonewall Prep is gone.
