It took around 30 minutes seaplane transfer from the Male airport to Mirihi resort, and the view along way was breathtaking.
Once you get down at the Male International airport, you will be taking a 20-minute domestic flight to the nearby domestic airport. Show Prices . I don't usually write reviews but Mirihi was so perfect I had to share my experience. Powder soft sand with crystal clear water, abundant house reef with superficial marine life (We saw eagle rays, baby sharks, parrot fish, nemo, tutles & what not). Pool . Location. Yes, Mirihi Island Resort offers an airport shuttle for guests. Due to its size and limited number of Villas, Mirihi is considered as being one of the smallest islands in the Maldives.This emerald gem is just 350 meters long and 50 meters wide with palm-fringed beaches and sand as soft as powder, inviting you to leave your shoes behind for the duration of your stay. Room types may vary.Once you have decided to take a trip to the Maldives the most difficult thing is deciding which resort to go to.
The seaplane flight was fun and provided for spectacular views. Only a few metres into the sea, our spectacular house reef awaits you.More space, more light, more privacy. All the Villas offer the same high standard with designer furnishings, polished wooden floors, king size or twin beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, sitting area with CD stereo system, iPod connector and fully stocked minibar, Nespresso machine, IDD telephone, personal safe and free Wi-Fi. We did the whale shark excursion and saw one! The brand-new 2-bedroom Overwater Suite (160sqm) has its own jetty and offers the ultimate over-water living experience on Mirihi, as it is situated directly over one of the most beautiful parts of our truly amazing house reef. The wine tasting evening was also a lot of fun and well worth doing. Combining modern and traditional elements, the small paradise has been freshly renovated and reopened in December 2014 with a new shine, but still maintaining its unique Maldivian character. The staff, amenities, service, dive center (and staff) food, accommodation and sea life is beyond incredible! The way this small island is laid out makes it feel private and secluded even while near capacity. It’s a complete eye candy & it completely justifies the paradise / slice of heaven tag. I hope all of you are well especially during the Coronavirus shutdown.
