While we are HHonors Diamond members, we had to pay extra to upgrade to the Napua Terrace building and in all honesty, it’s probably not worth it unless you eat breakfast, snacks, and dinner at the club lounge every day but who wants to do that when you are in Hawaii. Their professional instructors can also escort you on one of four ocean dives tailored to novice or certified divers.
We’re just 35 minutes south from the Kahului Airport (OGG). Pools are very nice and there is direct access to beach. Did not try any of the restaurants due to high prices and other options close by. Flights

The hotel has pools galore and even a cute little chapel so that you can get married or have a quiet moment with God to thank him (or her) for the experience at the lovely resort. With 780 rooms, two massive pools, four restaurants, frequent fun luaus, and a 50,000-square-foot spa, the Grand Wailea wows with its immense scale. We enjoyed the food/restaurants (except Bistro Molokini) and always experienced great service in every aspect of the hotel - from check-in to check-out. The staff was super friendly. Many have tried but few have been able to duplicate the features and fun that it has. DIVE Wailea, Grand Wailea’s third party SCUBA provider, offers complimentary pool lessons to first-time divers, 12 years or older. I didn't go to the spa, but heard it is a wonderful and unique experience, similar to most to be had at Grand Wailea.
